Originally, the Oconee County Sheriff's Office called us to help them build a sex offender registry database for their web site. Once this site was in place, OCSO decided it needed a full-fledged site dedicated to informing the public about its operations, as well as offering helpful safety tips and advice.
The new site, which is currently under development, will contain the aforementioned sex offender registry, as well as a "Most Wanted Fugitive" section and a list of currently jailed inmates. A database back-end application was installed to allow the Sheriff's Office to update this information themselves without the need for help from the site's developers.
In late 2004, NASCAR driver Michael Waltrip wanted a web site built to keep his fans informed on his latest happenings and those of Michael Waltrip Racing, Inc. He also wanted to provide a way for Michael Waltrip fans to congregate in a Member's Only Fan Section of his site. He wanted the bulk of his site to be built in Flash with music, movement, and interactivity. But, the Member Area still needed to be built in such a way that anybody could join and take part, despite low bandwidth limitations.
Michael Waltrip's site featured usage of our proprietary content management system, Aycad. Among other tasks, the CMS can be used to edit news, special features, race standings, member photos, and user memberships. The member area required customized integration of the bulletin board system, chat program, and credit card transaction processing for memberships. The front-end of the site was built almost exclusively in Macromedia Flash which was integrated with Aycad CMS to deliver its content.
Global Anesthesia Services is an agency that specializes in placing anesthesia providers. Recently, Global Anesthesia decided upon redesigning their web site to streamline the process of searching for jobs.
The new site, which is currently under development, will be more aesthetically pleasing, with a new color scheme and overall CSS-based design. For the most part, much of the functionality will be similar to that of the previous site version. But tweaks to the interface and information architecture of the site will create a better overall user experience for visitors looking to post or look up jobs, or learn more about the company.
Meridian is "Oconee County's newest premier community offering the best family oriented amenity package in the county." In 2005, Phil Hammond approached Intellego Web Design about designing a site for the new Meridian neighborhood, to which he was providing realty services. The site provides maps and photographs of the new subdivision and features listing profiles of some of the new homes for sale.
We utilizeded our proprietary Aycad CMS system to allow Phil Hammond and company to updated property listings. The front-end was built using previously developed real estate listing pages, reducing the overall cost of the system. Customized dynamic "Printer-Friendly" pages were designed to allow the printing of all property listings in a one or two-page flier formet.
Phil Hammond was also interested in having a web site built for his realty named Athens Best Homes. He wanted something visually pleasing, but rich with content. As the launch date for this site approaches, the end result has materialized to be feature-rich and highly customized to the needs of Athens Best Homes.
This site featured some pretty advanced CSS and Javascript to create a visual design in which the content would still be available to those not using modern browser technologies. Much additional work was also done to this site to allow search engines to properly index the site's pages for pre-chosen search words.
Our first full-fledged real estate web site, Real Estate Traditions' web site was a large undertaking. Some of the realtors at Real Estate Traditions originally had template sites created with other popular real estate site sellers. The company wanted one site, customized in functionality and appearance.
Being our first large real estate web site, this project involved a great deal of customized design and functionality. The site features many lead-generating forms where visitors can enter their contact information for further information from the company. Most of the site's content can be updated through the content management system, including employee profiles, listing information and photos, community links, and mortgage center information.
Athens, GA based Bravada Interiors specializes in both residential and commercial interior design. Bravada Interiors approached Intellego Web Design in late 2004 wanting a site that was elegant and sophisticated, much like their interior designs. But most of all, Bravada wanted to make available information about the company and the services it provides.
No database back-end or programming was required for a small brochure site such as this. Instead, all efforts were focused on aligning the visual design with the Bravada interiors brand. Macromedia Flash was utilized for the home page animation window and to provide each page with tasteful music that can be turned on or off with the click of a button.
Castellaw Funeral Home's site was a medium-sized brochure site featuring a moderate amount of dynamic functionality. Along with being able to learn more about the company, visitors can also browse through Castellaw's large selection of merchandise, and view obituaries for the recently departed.
All merchandise, merchandise categories, and obituaries can be maintained through the Aycad content management system.
Lord & Stephens is a funeral home with chapels in Athens, Oglethorpe, Danielsville, and Oconee County in Georgia. The website for Lord & Stephens was the first funeral home web site built by Intellego Web Design. It is a small brochure site featuring a bit of customized functionality.
Featured on this web site is an elegant design created to reflect the professionalism of the company it represents. This site contains a custom-built obituary system where visitors can browse and search the obituaries of the recently departed. The database back-end of the site was originally custom-built, but was later converted to the newer Aycad Content Management System to provide for easier future site additions.
A dealer in home wiring for home audio and theater, Elite Home Wiring wanted a web site to showcase its products and tell the world about the services it offers. The Elite Home Wiring web site is actually a small brochure site, requiring only front-end creative design without any need for a back-end database.
The Elite Home Wiring web site features a simple, yet stylish design tailored to visitors shopping for a high-end home theater.
Glenn Alex's practice is more than just a dentistry. Glenn Alex dentistry offers all the expected treatment offerings including tooth cleaning, fillings, and tooth whitening. He also offers unique "Spa Dentistry" options such as heated pillows, entertainment during procedures such as music and movies, aroma therapy, warm hand mittens and foot booties, and the list goes on and on. Glenn Alex has a unique dentistry and wanted a unique site to represent it.
Glenn Alex features a custom design tastefully geared toward all audiences, without sacrificing professionalism. One of the best features of the site would have to be the pop-up video of an NBC Channel 4 piece on Spa Dentistry featuring Glenn Alex himself.
The Runners' Clinic of Champions hosts clinic events where coaches, parents, and athletes get together to learn about running, and how it can promote good health and confidence. The Runners' Clinic needed a small brochure site to inform the public about its clinic offerings and to allow individuals to register on the web.
This small site features a sporty design, with its information condensed into a small, yet effective package. Visitors learn about the personalities behind the clinic, find out times and locations of the clinic, register for future clinics, and contact its organizers.
